The hot dogs will soon be sizzling in Penticton in support of the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation at MP Richard Canning’s first annual community barbeque. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, 6 pm to 7:30 pm in Skaha Park, by the Rotary Pavilion in the event of wet weather.
“We all know how important the new hospital tower will be to our community” said Cannings, “and it’s good to see that building has begun. However, the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation has set a fundraising goal of $20M to purchase equipment and furnish rooms and we’d like to help raise some of those funds.”
