OTTAWA – Today Richard Cannings, MP announced he is hosting a Town Hall Meeting in Penticton on Tuesday May 24th, 2016 at 7 pm at the Penticton Library Auditorium. The Town Hall will be his first Town Hall in the riding, with more to come in the future.

“I wanted to have a venue to give constituents a chance to come in and ask questions about those issues that concern them the most” said Cannings. “This Town Hall meeting is going to be the first such chance and I look forward to hosting my fellow constituents on the 24th.”

The first Town Hall Meeting will be an open Question and Answer format, where constituents will be able to come in and ask their Member of Parliament about Federal issues that they are concerned about. Also at this meeting, Mr. Cannings will be joined by other local elected representatives from other levels of government, who will also take part in these discussions.
